Lakewood Art Walk.



Don't forget to participate in the MAMA LIA Art Walk on Madison Avenue from 6pm - 10pm, Friday, October 5th.

What is an Art Walk?

An art walk is an event enjoyed in many communities around the country. It is a designated day and time that galleries and art studios, shops and restaurants, all join forces to create a extraordinary time for visitors to go from place to place feasting both their eyes and their taste buds as they stroll through town enjoying the best of what is offered by its artists. Local restaurants may offer Art Walk specials. Street corners and shops feature entertainment treats such as musicians and singers, jugglers and poets. It is also a splendid occasion to purchase interesting pieces of art at very affordable prices.The Art Walk process is simple - proceed at your own pace, wander into galleries and businesses that capture your fancy, stroll around a delightful area punctuated by , historic architecture, restaurants, quaint businesses and more.

How do I do the Art Walk?

Come to Madison Avenue and pick up a Art Walk Guide, available at all participating shops and restaurants. The guide has a map locating all the featured art exhibits. And off you go! Begin anywhere, go in any order you like, visit as many as you like. All exhibits and entertainment are free of charge.
